Social housekeeping

That leads us to social media. Even though, I’m sure you would never check out someone you don’t know on Facebook, Instagram or another personal social network, don’t think that your future employer may not too.

With this in mind, good housekeeping and checking your privacy settings will go a long way. If your profile is public and wish to keep it that way, remove any images or political posts which could end up polarising you from your interviewer.

Drunken images of you tagged at a party or extreme politic opinion shared on your wall a do not build the best image of their next Marketing Director or Senior Full Stack Developer.
